Exciting New Collaboration Between Leo Cancer Care and Mercurius Health Announced
Leo Cancer Care has developed a unique groundbreaking upright positioning system that can be combined with a fixed radiation beam and upright scanner, removing the need for large and expensive rotating gantries.
Leo Cancer Care’s pioneering Proton Therapy and Photon Therapy solutions, MarieTM, RubyTM and AdaTM have been developed using research and evidence from across the globe, demonstrating the clinical benefits of upright patient positioning through reduced organ motion. These solutions have been designed with the patient in mind as the upright position is easier and quicker to set up, whilst also being more empowering for the patient and enables better, eye-to-eye communication with clinicians.
”We founded Leo Cancer Care to improve both the quality and access to Radiation Therapy. We are delighted to be partnering with Mercurius Health to launch the Leo technology into European markets. Together we have the innovative technology and combined experience in the Radiation Oncology field to make a real difference to cancer patients”.
