Cybersecurity

CyberSecurity is the practice of implement security levels, software or barriers to prevent malicious attacks to an IT environment. Another definition of CyberSecurity is Information Technology Protection.

Nowadays, cyberSecurity is the main topic in any project where IT infrastructures are implemented. Different levels of security could be applied such as physical barriers (e.g. unaccessible datacenters), hardware and software firewalls, data encryption and antimalware/antivirus software. The implementation of disaster recovery and/or business continuity solutions which mitigate the risk of a system down and remove the total data loss possibility is an additional protection against malicious attacks . However, cybersecurity is not related only to a product, license or technology: it is very connected to users education and trainings. A combination of all these solutions will define the level of security of a system.
